Right outside our door begins the entrance to the Pfitsch Valley, an unspoilt valley between Sterzing and the Zillertal Alps. Peaceful paths, wide meadows, forests and impressive mountain scenery make this region a special place for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors.

In summer, numerous trails lead straight into the mountains. Walks along the valley floor, hikes to alpine pastures and mountain huts, or more challenging mountain tours offer options for different levels and preferences. The valley can also be explored by mountain bike, all the way into the alpine mountain landscape.

In winter, the Pfitsch Valley reveals its quieter side. Cross-country skiing in Pfitsch, in particular, offers a wonderful way to experience the snow-covered landscape up close. Winter walks, snowshoe hikes, tobogganing and ski touring round out the possibilities.

Above all, the surrounding mountains give the valley its distinctive character. The Zillertal Alps shape the head of the valley, while peaks such as Hochfeiler and Pfitscher Joch define its high-alpine landscape.
