Hotel Rose is a place with a story to tell. What is now a 4-star hotel in Wiesen began in 1980 with the first licence for a small hospitality business. For many years, the Tötsch family ran, shaped and developed the property with great personal dedication. For them, being hosts was more than just a job – it was a true passion.

In 2026, a new chapter begins for Hotel Rose as the Tötsch family hands the property over to brothers Thomas and Peter Stuefer. With them, a new generation of hosts arrives in Wiesen, bringing extensive experience, fresh ideas and the ambition to continue developing Rose step by step.

Their journey in hospitality began around 16 years ago with an après-ski bar in Ratschings. Since then, they have established several other businesses and venues: Schwarzer Adler Restaurant, Anett Hotel in Gasteig, Casa Fellin Guesthouse, Angolo Focacceria and Hiesig Eiswerkstatt in Sterzing. Today, Hotel Rose has also become part of this family of hospitality businesses.

What connects all these places is the people behind them, who are actively involved in their daily operations. To this day, Thomas and Peter remain hands-on in their businesses, stay close to the day-to-day running and continually develop new ideas.

At Hotel Rose, this new energy meets a story that has grown over decades. Many things may change, while others are here to stay: the personal atmosphere, the joy of welcoming guests and the feeling of being truly welcome.
